Classic Styling
There's something about classic styling that makes it timeless. It's why I love Royal Enfield bikes. Their styling hasn't changed much since 1932. A new Royal Enfield looks like a classic of yesteryear, but with a few modern features for added comfort and reliability.

That is my inspiration behind the Classic Series: The Classic 30 - a short scale bass that nods to the one and only Mustang bass, which first made its debut in 1966 and has gone relatively unchanged since. This is my take on the classic.
In addition, I will be working on the Classic T: a tribute to the Telecaster, but like my motorcycle, with added modern features.

CLASSIC 30 & CLASSIC T
Familiar yet New
Keeping things simple, the batteries, preamp and active electronics are gone to make way for passive simplicity and reliability.
The vision is to pair handmade guitars with handmade components. The Classic 30 bass will have the Mustang vibe but with a few added innovations:
Two unique B90 pickups: Mustang voiced, hum cancelling by design, with a fat punchy bottom and articulate top, housed in a P90 cover for a uniquely classic tone and styling. Two pickups to give three different voices.
Premium solder-less passive wiring harness with the legendary Grease Bucket tone circuit. This rolls off the top end only without muddying the bass. The result is a smooth dark tone with all the retained clarity in the low end. Treble bleed volume control for crystal clear tone at any level. The ultimate in tone!
Ultralight tuners - classic clover heads without the neck dive.
Hand carved contours on the lower horn - finally fixing the main limitation of the Mustang bass - for comfortable, easy access to all the frets.
Flatter fretboard radius to open up the entire fretboard even more, for a lower action and faster, easier fretting.

For the Tele-inspire Classic T, the vision is the pair the same premium solder-less wiring harness with handwound CuNiFe wide range humbuckers inspired by the fabled pickups from the 1970's.
