MEDIUM SCALE SOUTHLAND RUCUS EDITION BASS

30 years ago I made my first bass under the guidance of Gerard Gilet of Gilet Guitars in Botany. On this 30 anniversary year, I have paid homage to that first bass and the band I played, RUCUS, in during the late 90’s. Same 32” scale length, same body wood - Padauk, and same pickup - EMG DC. But this time paired with a Wenge and Padauk neck, zero fret, an additional pickup and 2 band preamp - in a modified, more sculptured Southland body, and some upgraded hardware. This is the RUCUS bass.
